I’m Stuck… For An Office Chair

I started looking for high-quality, comfy office chairs for my work area at home. It reminded me of how far I’ve come since my start-up days in Romania during the 1990s. From tiny projects under communism, I stepped up to a big deal with an Italian office furniture dealer during Romania’s turn to capitalism. This taught me why quality is key and how picking the right tools helps you succeed.

In Australia, despite its wide variety, it irks me to see low regard for quality furniture. Hardly any match the top-level skills and design I like, reminding me of European standards. Hunting for the right chair is about more than shopping — finding the essence of quality. This is especially true for business folk who see their work area as a mirror of their brand and standards.

Picking the right office chair means judging its ergonomics, materials, design, and how well it works for daily tasks. Like the boss chairs I’m checking out, good office furniture offers more than just comfort and good looks. It also speaks to your dedication to being the best.

True, price does matter, but I completely dislike being hit with high prices for pretend high quality, especially when I have an eye for it after years of selling or experiencing Europe’s best. Bonded leather will never stand before genuine leather, and high-quality textiles have an unmistakable feel. Good chrome plating stands for years without rusting, and that’s something one can almost feel with a bit of experience.

My story highlights the need not to settle on quality in business decisions, whether getting office furniture or tech solutions. Each choice leaves a mark, emphasizing the necessity for thorough thought and knowledge in all business actions. And it’s applicable in every aspect of our lives and business, whether you like it or not.

Eternal optimist. I truly believe we can still make it. Sort of… That’s why I went through 10 business startups & why I am involved in Open Technologies.
